RABIU S.K ADAMU HEAD, ICT – ABUJA

Born in Kaduna, Kaduna State on 18^th December, 1972 Rabiu S.K Adamu is a Graduate of Business Administration and Management from Kaduna State Polytechnic, Zaria. He enrolled at Aflon Computers Institute, Abuja where he obtained a Diploma in Micro Computer Operations and Management and also qualified as an Oracle 10g and 11i Certified Professional from the Oracle University, USA.

Rabiu has a career in insurance spanning over a decade with the Standard Insurance Consultants Limited that gave him a rise to the position as the Chief Coordinator (Northern Operations) in charge of Underwriting, Claims handling and other Administrative activities generally. He also attended the Willis Masters of Energy Training both in the Year 2011 and 2013 in London (UK).

Rabiu has attended the United Nations Conference of Parties – COP 21 in Paris, France, COP 22 in Marrakech, Morocco and also the COP 23 in Bonn, Germany in his capacity as the ICT Head. He is actively involved in the Climate Change activities through tree planting and the 3Gs (Going Green at Grassroots) campaign.

In addition, he qualified as an Associate of Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered), the Chartered Institute of Administration (ACIA) and a Full Member of the Portfolio Management Institute (MPMI) and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Certificate from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi. Furthermore, Mr. Adamu is presently a holder of Masters Degree in Business Administration and Management from the National Open University. He is happily married with a child.
